Global Wedding Branding

- ObjectiveMarriott International wanted to create a new marketing platform to promote their wedding packages, which would be rolled out to each of its brands worldwide. With this in mind, the platform needed to versatile enough to accommodate each individual brand's characteristics as well as the local and religious nuances of each country.
- PropositionWe needed to research weddings as a brand and understand the requirements of any given occasion. An audit of competitor collateral was an integral part of the research to help differentiate Marriott's offering in this competitive market.
- SolutionCreating a survey that went out to all hotels, we were able to distill the requirements of the properties to provide a suite of flexible wedding collateral. Whether for a landmark JW Marriott or a city centre Marriott hotel, the comprehensive guidelines produced offered branded solutions that could be tailored to each individual property.
