Marriott International

There is no doubting Marriott’s position in the industry as the most powerful portfolio. At the heart of it all is connection, experience and a chance for everyone from guests to employees and partners to open their eyes to the world.
Over the course of our time working with the brand as their appointed European brand agency, we’ve positioned new openings and re-openings, we’ve artworked thousands of individual items of collateral and established benchmarks for process and standards, we’ve created campaigns and communications for individual brands, the overarching portfolio and its rewards programme and we’ve even organised annual conferences.

With every member of the Marrriott team that we work alongside, many of whom have been on the very same journey for two decades, there are overwhelmingly universal characteristics of passion and commitment to the brand, and a united mission to exceed expectations and put the guests at the forefront of it all.

Our work has connected us with cultures in Budapest, Vienna, Sardinia, Prague and of naturally London and all around the UK. In fact, when Marriott International rebranded in 2014, we applied years of learning to ensure the brand was sensitively adapted for the Hotels & Country Clubs portfolio of properties in a way that dutifully respected the new master brand and brand identity whilst maintaining a unique quality of quintessential Britishness. This is represented by patterns that echoed the natural environments of the properties and linked to the topographical textures of the parent brand.

At the other end of the scale, a brand new Autograph Collection hotel in the heart of City Walk, Dubai reflected ‘new horizons’ for this vibrant destination managed by Meraas Hotels & Resorts. This upcoming neighbourhood or ‘town’, as the name suggests, would host a different kind of experience, no longer superlative or ostentatious but understated, modern-classic and sophisticated. The logo symbolises the meeting of city and sky for the sophisticated experience seeker looking for a different view on living.

Back in London, one of our capital’s greatest icons, The JW Marriott Grosvenor House recently underwent a significant refurbishment programme to maximise the hotels performance and continue to lead the pack as one of the brand’s most revered and respected properties.

As a long-term partner of the property team, we were well placed to communicate that change was coming.
Memories of its rich cultural and literary history came flooding back and ‘The Next Chapter’ in the story of the hotel was celebrated in all its glory.

Through the beautiful reproduction of an account to guests of the plot and characters so far with an introduction to a new cast and set reaffirmed the hotel’s position as a living legend, one that has earned respect in its enduring ability to be a place where great stories are created. After two years, glasses were raised at a show-stopping party for friends old and new.

We look forward to more adventures to come.
